ICC postpone decision on T20 World Cup, know how long you have to wait



The International Cricket Council (ICC) board on Thursday deferred the decision on all matters on its agenda, including the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia by 10 June. The World Cup was scheduled to be held from 18 October to 15 November but there is speculation that it will be postponed due to the Kovid-19 epidemic and this window is currently being used to host the postponed Indian Premier League.


The ICC said after the board's teleconference that the board urged the ICC management to continue to discuss various emergency options with stakeholders in view of the constantly changing public health situation due to the Kovid-19 epidemic.

Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has also tweeted on this decision of ICC. He said that the ICC's decision on the T20 World Cup has been postponed to 10 June. What will happen if it changes.

Earlier there was speculation that the ICC T20 will give an official decision to postpone the world in this meeting. Apart from this, there were also speculations that in the postponement of the T20 World Cup, in October, the BCCI will use the empty window as the IPL event.
