Even after being in the red zone, Shardul Thakur went out to practice without permission, raging BCCI officials

There is currently a lockdown in India to control the corona virus infection. In the fourth lockdown that began on May 17, the Indian government has given permission to train the players. Tej Shardul Thakur of the Indian cricket team came to practice on the field after a long time. The Indian bowler living in the Red Zone had decided to go for training without the permission of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Board officials are very angry with this.

During the fourth lockdown by the Government of India, the players have been allowed to practice alone following the guidelines. Players are allowed to train only after being approved by the board. Shardul did not seek permission from the BCCI before practicing on Saturday, due to which he could not get practice.

Speaking to IANS, a BCCI official said, "He was not allowed to practice as he is a player coming in line with the board agreement." Sad that he went away on his own, he should not have done this, it is not a good thing.

At present, Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer are in Mumbai but they all have decided to stay at home. Shardul is a player under the BCCI's annual contract. He has been placed in the C category this year.

According to sources, Shardul wanted to train in Palghar district which falls in the Red Zone, so it was not the right step taken by him. Right now, while the BCCI is taking all measures to protect the players, it is not right to go training in this way without permission.

According to media reports, Shardul Palghar was part of the net session at the Sports Association ground in Dahanu taluka district. The Indian bowler spoke to the media after the net session and said he did not use saliva to shine the ball as recommended by the ICC Cricket Committee.
