Google removed digital wallet app Mobikwik from play store, know what happened then

Google removed the digital wallet app Mobikwik from its platform for violating Play Store policies. In view of this strict attitude of Google, Mobikwik CEO Bipin Preet Singh told via Twitter that his Mobikwik app has been removed from the Play Store because the app had a link to the Arogya Setu app. We did this keeping in mind the RBI guidelines, so that more and more people can be made aware of the Arogya Setu mobile app.

Following the tweet by Mobikwik CEO Bipin Preet Singh, the Mobikwik app has now been made available on the Play Store without a link to Arogya Setu. Users can now download and use this app.

Mobikwik app removed from Google Play store due to Aarogya Setu!

The MobiKwik app has been removed from the Google Play Store due to a violation of the Google Play Store ad policy. According to Mobikwik co-founder and CEO Bipin Preet Singh, this was done because the app has a link to the Arogya Setu app. Singh said in an interview that Mobikwik had received a warning from Google a week ago to promote Aarogya Setu, but when contacted by Mobikwik, he said it was a mistake. However, even after this, the app has now been removed from the Google Play Store.
Bipin Preet Singh told Gadgets 360 in an email, (translated) "The app was removed because we had a link to the Arogya Setu app." He gave us a warning a week ago and we explained that we had been asked to do so. Then today they first removed this app. It happened around 3 pm (IST) and then we contacted their team and resubmitted the app after removing the link to Arogya Setu, after which now Google has made the app live. "

Singh tweeted that MobiKwik and other fintech firms were asked by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to include a link to the Aarogya Setu app, making more and more people aware to download this contact tracing app. Remind that Arogya Setu has been downloaded more than 10 million times so far. Other apps such as Paytm's Android and iOS app versions include links to the Arogya Setu.

Google has policies against apps that contain deceptive or disruptive advertisements and are not explicitly labeled. However, if this is the reason why the MobiKwik app has been removed from Google Play, then we have to ask why other apps that promote Arogya Setu are being allowed on the store.

Swadeshi Mitron becomes bigger app than TikTok, more than 50 lakh people downloaded

An indigenous short video making app 'Mitron' developed by a student of IIT Roorkee has become the most downloaded app after Arogya Setu. It has given the biggest competition to App Ticketok of the Chinese company Bytdans. Currently, this app available on the Google Play Store has been downloaded more than 50 million times. In a tweet by Deepak, former Paytm senior vice president, this app is appearing on the second position.

The app has features like TikTok

This app mostly has features like TicketTalk. At the same time, its interface is also similar to TicTalk. In the review of this app with about 4.7 ratings, many users have said that there are many bugs in it and it is also difficult to login, but it is being supported due to its Indian platform.

Despite these bugs are becoming famous

Friends app has many bugs. It has many limited features of auditing video and adding audio. Released about a month ago, this app is becoming popular at a time when many controversies related to Tiktok have come to light among Indian users.

China's products are being boycotted due to the Corona virus. In such a situation, users are continuously dropping the rating of TicketLock. This app, prepared by Shivank Aggarwal, seems to be a clone of TickTock at a glance.

Being famous by name only

This app is currently becoming popular among Indians only because of its name. The app currently has a size of 8.03 MB and was released on 11 April. At present, on May 24, some improvements have also been made. Currently the login option has been given in the Friends app with the help of Google.
