Arogya Sethu App set another record, competing with apps across the world

India has led the world in effectively leveraging technology to counter the  epidemic.

Arogya Setu App, the official app that provides information to prevent coronavirus infection, also remained one of the top 10 downloaded mobile apps in the world in May. Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog, Amitabh Kant gave this information on Saturday.

Amitabh Kant tweeted, 'Arogya Setu remains one of the top 10 downloaded mobile apps worldwide for the second consecutive month in May after launching the app. India has led the world in effectively leveraging technology to counter the COVID-19 epidemic. '

Let us know that Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address to the nation on 14 April appealed to the people to download this app.

How to use Arogya Setu App

First of all, you have to download it from the play store and install it in the phone. After installing the Arogya Setu app, if you open it for the first time, you will have to give some permissions. With the help of your mobile number, Bluetooth and location data, this app determines whether you are safe or you are at risk of infection.
